Dr. Nguyen Phan, DMD, MD, is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. His range of expertise includes dental extractions and bone grafting, along with dental implant cases, including complex implant cases such as jaw in a day (all-on-4 implants).
Dr. Phan grew up in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, where he did undergraduate studies in Science at the University of Ottawa, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Phan then completed his dental school at the University of Louisville (DMD), graduating Magna Cum Laude. In dental school, Dr. Pham was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, was a Himan Scholar, and was the recipient of the Psi Omega Fraternity Scholastic Achievement Award. After dental school, Dr. Phan completed medical school at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport (MD). He then completed a year in General Surgery, followed by training in Anesthesia, and residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS).
He now lives in Scottsdale, enjoying many of the outdoor activities Arizona has to offer. Dr. Phan is an expert in wisdom teeth removal, completing the procedure under sedation to give his patients the most comfortable experience. Dr. Phan is also an expert in dental implants, placing hundreds every year. He can place anything from a single implant to complete full mouth reconstruction with jaw in a day (all-on-4 implants).
